Piper and I relish at the chance to play in the rain. I'm fairly certain that I am still a child. It took everything in me not to push my daughter in a puddle and jump in it afterward. As you can see from subsequent entries, she doesn't take real well to messy surprises. By the way, Piper loves to sing Singin' in the Rain when she's in the shower, but this was even better. She even twirled her umbrella, my little Gene Kelly.

I think little Miss Piper could be our present day "Shirley Temple". She is destined to be on stage. Watch out Hollywood and the Academy Awards, get Piper's Oscar ready.
